Free courses for those who graduated from Laurea within the target time

Students who graduate from Laurea within the target time can take Laurea’s open UAS studies for free for the next four full semesters after graduation.

The target time is considered to be:

• Bachelor’s degree 3.5 years
• Master’s degree 1.5 years

The free of charge study entitlement in the Open UAS starts from the beginning of the next semester after your graduation (i.e. 1st of January or 1st of August) and is valid for four consecutive semesters. However you can exercise your right already during the current semester after your graduation, if suitable studies are starting earlier. This does not reduce your four-semester study period at the Open UAS.

The free of charge applies to the Open UAS individual courses and some of the to work oriented competence modules in the education offer. Free of charge does not apply to path studies of the Open UAS (Bachelor/Master).

If you have graduated from Laurea within the target time, please fill in the form before enrolling for courses. In this form, you will inform that you have graduated within target time. We will then send you via email a code, which allows you to enrol for Laurea’s Open UAS studies free of charge.

NOTE! Fill out the form only when you are officially graduated, i.e. when you have the “Graduated” mark displayed in Pakki.
