Event Safety and Security
This course is planned to combine expertise from both Safety, Security and Risk Management and Hospitality Management fields and to strengthen students’ understanding of the interdependence between the event organiser and those responsible for security. The course includes guest lectures by experts from working life. You will learn about the development of safety and security through the safety and security arrangements of an event of their choice.

- describe the legislation relevant for event safety and security
- identify typical event safety and security risks
- plan safety and security arrangements based on identified risks
- create a space plan for an event, taking into account the nature of the event
Tämä toteutus on englanniksi. Suomenkielinen päiväopiskelijoille suunnattu toteutus järjestetään syksyllä 2025. Myös monimuoto-opiskelijat voivat ilmoittautua syksyn toteutukselle, mutta opetusta järjestetään myös monimuoto-opiskelijoiden opetuspäivien ulkopuolella.
