Management of Strategic and Financial Risks
This course equips you with the skills to analyze the business operating environment at a strategic level. You will learn to define key concepts related to strategic and financial risks, and identify and analyze these risks effectively. The course also covers comparing and selecting suitable management methods for identified financial risks. By the end of the course, you will be able to apply strategic and financial risk management principles as safety and security experts, ensuring you can manage risks in a comprehensive and informed manner.

After this course you should be able to:
- analyse the business operating environment on a strategic level
- define key concepts related to strategic and financial risks
- identify and analyze strategic and financial risks
- compare and select suitable management methods for identified financial risks
- apply strategic and financial risk management as a safety and security expert
Students enrolling in the study unit shall have sufficient knowledge of the fundamentals business competence, which can be acquired, for example, by completing the study unit Business Processes (10 credits) or Profitable Business (5 credits) or Business Environment in a Global Economy (5 cr) or Understanding Customer Behaviour (5 cr).
