Support for studies

Laurea’s students have access to Office365 online services, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams, for the duration of their studies.

PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams. When the right to study ends, the right to use Office365 online services also ends.

As a rule, Office365 online services can be accessed at https://portal.office.com/Home. In the login window, enter Laurea’s username (käyttäjätunnus@laurea.fi) and password. 

Office365 online services can also be downloaded to your own computer for the duration of your studies.

Instructions for downloading

1. Log in to the O365 service, e.g. https://portal.office.com/Home 
2. Enter the username in the format käyttäjätunnus@laurea.fi and press enter
3. Press the “Install Office” button at the top right of the page > Office 365 Applications.
4. Save the file to your computer and run the file.

Note: We recommend that you always install the 32-bit version, even if your computer is running 64-bit Windows, as 32-bit Office supports various functionalities better.

The latest Office can be installed on a limited number of devices. If you have a Mac, you can find the Mac version of Office in the same place. You can’t install an Office 365 package on Chromebooks.
