The extents of education and courses are mainly reported as credits (ECTS). One credit is calculated to correspond to approximately 27 hours of work, so e.g. a 5 credit course requires approximately 135 hours of effort from you. We recommend completing a maximum of 30 credits per semester.
Some of the courses or educations may have prerequisite requirements, which are mentioned in the course or education information. For example, for master’s level studies a bachelor’s degree or equivalent competence is always required.
The Laurea library is open to everyone and you can borrow the literature you need for your studies from there. The library also offers information search guidance services and self-study material.
For studies, you need a computer equipped with a camera and microphone. Laurea’s systems work best on a computer, so we recommend always studying on a computer.
